Rental Policy and Customer Responsibilities

Insurance: Customer is responsible for providing proof of liability and property damage insurance on all rented equipment. Customer shall insure rented equipment for its full value against physical damage and loss including vandalism and theft. If insurance is not provided customer must pay for the applicable Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) as per rental agreement.

Delivery: All rentals are quoted from Hopf Equipment Huntingburg, IN. Customer is responsible for delivery, pickup, and fuel charges. Call for our current rates.

Service: Rates include maintenance, except for daily operator inspection and excludes damage caused by misuse or abuse. All equipment is serviced and full of fuel and to be returned to Hopf Equipment in a like condition.

Rental Termination: All rentals are based on 8 hour day, 40 hour week, and 176 hour months. Excessive hourly usage will be charge on a prorated basis when equipment is returned. Customer is responsible for notifying Hopf Equipment of completion and for schedule pick-up. Customer is responsible for all rental charges until equipment is returned to Hopf Equipment.

Safety: Customer is responsible for furnishing qualified operator to ensure the safe operation of equipment. Customer is responsible to maintain safety features in operation during rental, i.e. back-up alarms, seat belts, ROPS, Canopies, ect.

Minimum: Minimum rental for equipment is one (1) day.

Tires: Customer is responsible for flat tires, tire damage, track damage, and abuse.
